Field guide to new yorkers book?

I used to read this book that was about different types of new yorkers. It was a book in the humor section and now I can’t find it anywhere. It seems like it doesn’t exist anymore and I can’t even find it on a search! I have tried “humor, comedy, people, new yorkers, book, field guide” and all sorts of variations.

I think it’s featured in the nanny diaries, the beginning where she is talking about who she is and it shows different types of new yorkers. I’m fairly positive it was that, or like that.

the movie american beauty is it a comedy or drama?

Any foreign comedy shows you’d recommend?
